Andy McGarry

I specialize in working with large national clients that conduct multi-state and portfolio transactions.

Experience

Andy has worked in commercial title sales and marketing since 2002, with transaction experience exceeding $200 billion in asset value across office, industrial, multifamily, retail, hotel, and specialty classes such as senior housing, timber, and energy. He and his team closed more than $35 billion in commercial real estate transactions in 2025. He holds a real estate broker’s license and MAI appraisal licenses, with extensive Phase 1 environmental, title, and escrow experience.

B.S. in Environmental Science, Mercer University.

Experience

Shawn joined the Atlanta NCS in 2003 following 10 years in private law practice in Tennessee, and was a substantial customer of the office before joining. He differentiates himself through deep knowledge of underwriting, title policies, and endorsements. He has extensive experience closing single- and multi-site, multi-state transactions, including large multifamily portfolios, hotels, timber, power plants, retail, and office. He is a frequent CLE speaker on title insurance issues. He is also leading several initiatives to bring commercial title into the era of agentic AI.

J.D., University of Memphis (1993); B.S. in Finance, University of Tennessee (1990). Licensed to practice law in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.

Experience

Alison brings a practical, transparent, and collaborative approach shaped by years on the client side. She was previously in-house counsel for a top-4 national multifamily developer, where she negotiated debt and equity documents and led the disposition process to institutional investors. Earlier, she was a partner at a top Atlanta-based law firm, where she led teams in acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing across all real estate asset classes.

He also helps drive the team’s AI initiatives.
